Installation Instructions
Read Completely Before Installing

1. Check for any exterior visual damage to Filter frame and/or screens.
2. Check Filter kit to confirm that you have received the following:
   - 1, Envria 1-inch Electronic Air Filter (in your specified size)
   - 8, Filter Media Pads
   - 1, 24-volt AC Adaptor
   - 1, “Key” for opening Filter*
   - “Replacing Filter Media” sticker
   - Replacement media disposal bags
3. Remove existing filter from your filter rack; check proper fit of new Envria 1-inch Electronic Air Filter by sliding into your filter rack with power source facing you. Your Filter should fit snugly into the filter rack.
4. If using supplied 24-volt AC adaptor, plug into Filter power lead and then plug into nearby outlet.
5. Green indicator light will show proper power to the Filter. To confirm proper media installation, gently squeeze outside screens between finger and thumb; small arcing will occur when filter media and center screen are installed properly. Be sure arcing stops after you have made contact with the screen.
6. Write date of installation on “Replacing Filter Media” sticker and place sticker in a visible location for easy reference.
7. Leave box with replacement media, disposal bags and key near installation.

IMPORTANT: We recommend the Filter Media Pads be inspected and/or changed with new media pads every 3 months. Do not clean the Filter Media Pads or the Filter itself by washing or immersing in water. This will lead to damage of the electronics, as well as void the warranty. Use only Envria Filter Replacement Media, obtained from your authorized Dealer Specialist.

*Do not use a screwdriver or any other tool to open your filter. This may cause damage to the closures and/or frame. If you have lost the key, you may use a coin to open the filter. Only open the filter by inserting the key near the corner on the aluminum frame, not in the corner itself. Use a twisting motion, not a prying motion, not a prying motion to open the filter. This will prevent damage to the frame and screen material.
