The Envria 1-inch Electronic Air Filter is a “whole-house” unit that replaces a existing disposable, inefficient filter located in a forced air heating and/or cooling system. This Filter utilizes the latest technology in design and efficiency, enabling it to capture ultrafine and microscopic particles as low as .02-1 micron. Particles of this size pass through the body's natural defense system and penetrate, or even settle in the lungs. These particles are classified as either “Inhalable”, “Thoracic” or “Respirable” pending their mass (size) and where they are deposited in and along the respiratory tract.

Our low-maintenance filter incorporates an electronic power head that only requires a safe 24 volts to operate. This power is supplied by a 24 volt step-down transformer that plugs into a standard 120 volt outlet. The 24 volt power head charges the filter's center screen and creates an electrically charged polarized field, which enables the filter's 2 media pads to capture and secure both positively and negatively charged particles (including the damaging ultrafine particles). The filter's media pads should be disposed of and replaced every 3 months, or as often as necessary, depending on various living environments.
